Phoenix High Temperature Repair

Turning Specialized Industrial Expertise into a Clear Digital Experience

Summary

Context

Phoenix High Temperature Repair is a highly specialized industrial-services company that operates in extreme environments in manufacturing and energy production. Their teams perform online repairs and inspections in conditions that can reach up to 3000°F, often inside vessels, furnaces, ducts, reactors, and other high-temperature or chemically hazardous spaces. Their work allows refineries, power plants, and petrochemical facilities to keep critical equipment running without costly shutdowns and without putting people at unnecessary risk.

Phoenix needed a website that clearly communicated their services and the value of their specialized expertise. The site had to demonstrate how Phoenix reduces downtime, prevents shutdowns, and improves safety, while also supporting relationship-building and helping secure long-term MSA agreements with oil and gas and manufacturing clients.

Note: The current live website may have been updated since my original design.

Website Design

Presenting Design Directions

I presented two distinct homepage design directions to the client, each with a different visual style and content hierarchy. The first option used a bold red color palette, strong typography, and rectangular layouts to immediately highlight services, safety, and industries served. The second option used an orange palette with a more modern layout, prioritizing certifications, a MSA inquiry call to action, and a hidden hamburger menu.

The client selected the red direction because it was more eye-catching and better aligned with their brand. More importantly, it guided users to understand Phoenix’s services and value upfront, rather than pushing an MSA call to action before visitors had enough context about the business.

Additional Pages

Phoenix selected one of the two proposed design directions, and I moved forward with creating comps for the remaining pages based on that direction. The subpages communicated Phoenix’s full range of services across the industries they serve, supported by realistic field photography and case studies.

Social Media Posts & Display Ads

In addition to the website, I collaborated with a marketing consultant to create social media graphics and display ads to build brand awareness, drive qualified traffic to the website, and support conversions.
